Privacy Policy

No account. No bank sync. No cloud dependency.

Effective date: June 24, 2026

Short version: Prune is designed as an on-device subscription tracker. We do not require bank connections, do not sell personal data, and do not use your subscription list for advertising.

Information you enter

Prune stores subscription details you add, such as service name, amount, currency, billing cycle, category, payment method, renewal date, and optional notes.

Where your data is stored

The current web build stores data locally in your browser using localStorage. Native app builds are intended to store data locally on your device unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.

No bank sync

Prune does not connect to your bank, cards, wallets, brokerage accounts, or payment providers. Manual entry is part of the privacy model.

No data sales

We do not sell your personal data, subscription list, spending data, or usage patterns to advertisers or data brokers.

Optional local sharing with Tack

Prune may share subscription data with Tack on the same device through a local storage key so the companion apps can work together. This is local device behaviour, not a cloud sync service.

Exports and backups

If you export JSON or CSV files from Prune, those files are under your control. Keep them somewhere safe and avoid sharing them with people who should not see your subscription data.
